Punggol Beach Historical Marker
Where is the historical marker at Punggol beach?
A reader of Seen This Scene That asked about the location of the historical marker at Punggol beach after I published an article on it recently.
I have decided to share this piece of information with all my other readers. But instead of telling you where its exact location is, I shall put up a photograph of it.
In this photograph, can you spot where the Punggol beach historical marker is?
Don't worry if you can't see it clearly in the photograph. On your next visit to Punggol beach, look for this police post and search around it.
Spend some time to read and reflect on what the inscriptions on the historical marker has to say.
What are your thoughts on this historical event?
See more places. Live more life.

Are you talking about the Marker that is on the left side of the stairs to the Jetty, where the immigration post is?
Is there another marker I should know about?
I have only been there once. I would love to be there again, but only in the day... its kind of spooky at night for now.
I hope the place has not changed much. I've not been there but I know few years back, the small hill where the Japs mount their MG and where skeletal remains were discovered nearby was still there. Hope to find 'second shot' opportunities.
I didn't see this historical marker at the Punggol Beach & my last visit was a few years back, looking at your post, I would like to go back there again before greater changes come to Punggol.
I might have an idea where the marker is, with reference to the police post ;)
