This is a photograph of a shark in Singapore taken by Seen This Scene That.

It is a shark in Singapore that can be found on a wall somewhere on our little island. I took the shot of this shark in Singapore last year. I think it should still be hanging around in the year 2010.

As it is too high up to touch, I can't be sure if it is a sculpture of a shark or a real Jaws. Under indoor lighting, it looks either fake or dead. This shark in Singapore is certainly not a digital manipulation of Seen This Scene That.

Is there a piece of Germany's famed Berlin wall in Singapore? Seen This Scene That explored a part of Singapore and found that there is a piece of Berlin wall in Singapore. Four cut pieces of the Berlin wall in Singapore to be precise.

Protected by glass panels under concrete shelter, the Berlin wall that resides in Singapore was transported from Germany across the world and parked in a park in the eastern half of Singapore, courtesy of Mr and Mrs. Robert A Hefner III.

These historical relics stood from 1961 to 1989. These segments of teh berlin wall in Singapore are known as Berlin Wall 7. The Berlin wall pieces in Singapore were painted by graffiti artist Dennis Kaun and is entitled 'Kings of Freedom'. On the other half of these pieces of Berlin wall in Singapore, unpainted white concrete stares at you with some numbers written on them.

Bird Park Singapore

Bird Park Singapore

This is a bird park in a quiet part of eastern Singapore. It is unlike the more illustrious and touristy Singapore Jurong Bird Park located in the west.

This neighbourhood bird park attraction has no fencing to keep out the public. You need not pay an entrance fee to visit this heartlander sight.

It is a short stroll from a body of water and a jogging track littered with stone next to a bus-stop.

Unlike the Jurong Bird Park of Singapore, feathered visitors to this off-the-beaten-path bird park cannot mingle with one another under the same roof.

If you listen closely at this bird park, you may imagine them talking to one another. How are you? Have you eaten? Are you the new bird staying at that block with the best reservoir view? Did you practice your pole dancing routine last night?

(Curious thing noted - if I submit the names again, I would get another name at the top. Anyway, I keyed all the participant's names and generated a random list once for the winner.)

As a prize for the quiz, I have prepared a Seen This Scene That Reader Feature for the winner. In this Reader Feature, the winner was 'interviewed' via e-mail to produce this post. In the interest of brevity, I have released only the juicier details.

STST: Hi Geng Hui, as an introduction, could you tell my readers a little about yourself?

TGH: I'm a heartlander you might come across the streets in Singapore, a blogger with a love for photography since a young boy and great passion for traveling and writing my travel journals, adventures and events. I once dreamt to be a National Geographic Photojournalist :)

STST: Wow, a National Geographic photographer and writer! You must have been traveling quite a fair bit around Singapore trying to capture beautiful scenes and putting words to pictures. What are some of the interesting scenes or articles we can expect to see on your site?

TGH: In my Photojournalist site, I write about Photography, Travel, Nature and Events.

STST: Of all the pretty places in Singapore, where can we find the memorable scenes that you like to visit often?

TGH: I like to visit Marina Barrage, Changi Coastal area, Marina BayFront, Pulau Ubin and Central Catchment Area.

STST: Seems like an exotic range of places to see. Tell us why do these scenic places appeal to you so much?

TGH: These are all beautiful places that showcase Singapore and its relationship of her surroundings with conservation and economic growth.

STST: Can I ask you a personal question? Why do you read Seen This Scene That?

TGH: I read and follow Seen This Scene That on a daily basis, because it's amazing and awesome. A lot of people including Singaporeans thought Singapore is a small and boring country, with not much interesting places to visit. Seen This Scene That defies this notion and brings us to locations off the mainstream and shows us an insight into how beautiful and interesting Singapore is !!

STST: Thank you Geng Hui, you're so generous with your compliments! Are there words of wisdom that you would like to share with my readers?

Today I've chosen to present three places to see in Singapore as my quiz of the month.

If I had chosen the Merlion spouting water at Singapore's Merlion Park, the bumboats floating along the Singapore River or offered you a photo of the old Big Splash waterslide at East Coast Park, those examples would have been too simple.

These photographs of places that you can see in Singapore were selected to add some degree of difficulty to the quiz. So some of you may find them easy, others may find them difficult.

In this "Where to find this place in Singapore (2)" quiz, all readers are invited to participate.

There is only one such sculpture (well, its the only one that I've seen) in the public parks of Singapore.

You can't physically touch the top of this sculpture because of its height, unless you are a good climber.

You can find other tall public sculptures and artwork in this park.

There is a children's playground nearby.

HDB flats surround this sculpture.

I think these will be all the clues that I can give without revealing answers.
